Queen Charlotte Track Day Trips
For those with limited time a Cougar Line Cruise 'n Walk is the perfect way to experience the Queen Charlotte Track. Choose from a number of walk options that are designed for all types of fitness and suitable for the entire family.
From 8 hour to 1 hour walks, we have it covered. There is a walk to suit all fitness levels and ages. Walking times are generous and the recommendation of the Department of Conservation. The resorts and lodges welcome all day trip visitors to buy hot and cold drinks and meals at the end of their walk.

5 hour Cruise 'n Walk
Ship Cove to Endeavour Inlet (15km)
Step ashore at Ship Cove, in the footsteps of explorer Captain Cook, for our most popular day walk.
Through magnificent virgin forest you’ll emerge at the ridgeline to breathtaking views of Cook Strait and Resolution Bay, before descending to the sheltered shoreline of Endeavour Inlet.

4 hour Cruise 'n Walk
Endeavour Inlet to Punga Cove (12.7km)
Historic Furneaux Lodge is the starting point for your walk around the head of Endeavour Inlet to Punga Cove Resort.
Venture over the swing bridge into the cool embrace of abundant punga ferns along the shoreline, to the melodic call of the bellbird.

3 hour Cruise 'n Walk
Resolution Bay to Endeavour Inlet (10.5km)
Discover a primordial world redolent of Lord of the Rings, in the towering rain forest just behind Furneaux Lodge.
This gentle walk traverses native forest over a low saddle offering a spectacular vantage point for the photographer. The gradual descent curls along the shoreline to historic Furneaux Lodge.
This is a gentle option for families, or a stroll after lunch. Meander along an easy path through ancient beech forest to an enchanting waterfall. Invigorated, inspired, relax with a coffee or a glass of wine as we cruise home.

Ship Cove to Resolution Bay (14.5 km)
A short climb reveals stunning long distance views of Cook Strait. Sub tropical virgin forest towers above the track. Survey off shore islands from a lookout and continue down the track for a pick up at remote Resolution Bay.

Half Day Cruise 'n Walk
Mistletoe Bay to Anakiwa
After a short climb out of Mistletoe the track passes through the original farm land with wide views of Onahau Bay and beyond to the hills above Picton, then meanders down through Beech forest, past a nice sandy beach at Davies Bay to Anakiwa.
