Walk options
Planning a hike on the Queen Charlotte Track with Cougar Line is easy. You can take as many days as you wish to walk the track and with the freedom to arrange your accommodation along the way from comfortable lodges or back-packers rooms, friendly homestays or campsites Cougar Line is the best transport to help you move along the track with ease.

Round Trip Track Pass for independent hikers
The Round Trip Track Pass is the easiest and most economical way to walk the Queen Charlotte Track.
This ticket will take you to any entry point on the track and return you from any exit point (view track map).
Included in this pass is the free transfer of your luggage to each accommodation along the way. You need only carry a day- pack each day. Also included is a free transfer across Endeavour Inlet from Furneaux Lodge to Punga Cove.
(Please limit the pack weight to 20kg max. Travel light – supplies, meals and drinks can be purchased along the way. Arrange to leave excess luggage behind at your Picton accommodation.)
Packaged & guided walk options

Daily track transfers
The Cougar Line's daily scheduled departures offer a chance for casual visitors to book a one way passage to the track.
In the summer there are up to four daily departures to choose from. As the track can be accessed at many different entry points the prices and times vary from bay to bay.

Pack transfers
Cougar Line offers a complimentary pack transfer service for every biker or walker booking a Round Trip Track Pass.
Your luggage will be transferred each day to your accommodation of choice along the track. You need only carry a day- pack each day.
Luggage is carried at the owners risk. We take every effort to care for your pack but it passes through a number of hands every day therefore Cougar Line can take no responsibility for any damage that might occur in transit.
