Bike the track

The Queen Charlotte Track is New Zealand’s longest dual-purpose track and provides spectacular riding for mountain bikers of all levels.

With incredible scenery along the way, grades vary along the Queen Charlotte Track from exhilarating downhills to flat, easy sections that are perfect for all ages and abilities.

Either ride the whole track, do a day trip with Cougar Line’s Bike Day Out, skip sections by boat or join the Kenepuru Road (south of Punga Cove only).

An easy and convenient way to ride the whole track is to book the Round Trip Track Pass with Cougar Line. The pass includes transfers to Meretoto/Ship Cove to start the track, and picks you up in Anakiwa at the end. Pedal in freedom while the water taxi transfers your bags to your accommodation each night.
